Description
Mill the top of your slide for MRDS (Mini Red Dot Sight).
All milling by ATEi will include bosses when applicable.
All ATEi MRDS (except for ACRO / side clamp style) milling services utilize 6-40 screws for more thread engagement and eliminating the need for thread locker. New 6-40 screws are included with all cuts utilizing them.
ATEi MRDS PRO cut cuts your slide to your optic for the tightest, most robust fitment possible.
Universal RMR footprint cut cuts your slide to the largest end of the tolerance spectrum for use of any optic with an RMR footprint.
ACRO / side clamp style cut is for the Aimpoint ACRO, and similar, side clamping style optics. This cut is done to Aimpoint specs to prevent tilting issues.
Refinishing is strongly recommended after slide milling. Refinish options can be found here.
If you are getting only slide milling, you need send only the slide, not the entire gun. You may strip the slide if you wish, but it is not required. Please read the instructions, notes & faq’s page for more information.
